February 9th, 2007

The IAI’s Collaborative Research Network on “Functional biodiversity effects on ecosystem processes, ecosystem services and sustainability in the Americas: an interdisciplinary approach” is offering a 1-week post-graduate course on “methodologies in functional biodiversity assessments”.

The course will take place from the 12th to the 16th of March 2007 in Córdoba, Argentina and is open to all post-graduate students with a background in ecology or plant science. Associating lectures and hands-on field and lab work, the course offers a unique opportunity to both reflect on the concepts and methodologies for functional biodiversity assessments and learn the practical skills needed for conducting such an assessment. For additional information regarding the course, please contact Fabien Quétier <fabien.quetier@ujf-grenoble.fr>.

Registration is open until March 2nd 2007. Please send a cover letter and CV by email to Valeria Falczuk <vfalc@efn.uncor.edu>.
